A Football Sunday Snack Board

October 3, 2020

I honestly think our favorite day of the week in the fall are Sundays. We usually stay in, make brunch or create a snack board! I made this for football Sunday Snack Board for a Bears game recently, it was a huge hit with the kids.

I honestly always say the kids eat so much better when I make a snack board. Does this happen with anyone else? I don’t know what it is…maybe because it looks better or there are more options. Whatever the reason is, snack boards are always the best!

This Sunday Funday Snack Board is so easy to make and many of the ingredients are in your fridge right now!

Snack board is from Target

This snack board has 5 main ingredients, with some extra snacks of your preference. So here are the main ingredients!

The main ingredients is Al Fresco Sweet Italian Sausage and I love them! I found them at Mariano’s and they are ready in minutes. I actually grilled these and the green peppers which maybe took 10 minutes. They are filling and a little lighter than regular sausage.

They also have lots of flavors like Buffalo Chicken, Roasted Garlic or even Sweet Apple. You can definitely use different flavors, but with the peppers and giardiniera,

He loves them! I kept a few plain ones for them.

Ingredients

  • Al Fresco Sweet Italian Sausage, cut in half (cutting them in half was great for the kids to just grab off the board)
  • Rolls (I personally like Rosen’s Rolls)
  • Sweet Peppers
  • Giardiniera
  • Grilled green peppers

Optional Toppings and sides

  • Spicy mustard
  • Apple Slices and blueberries
  • Chips
  • Goldfish

Honestly any other snacks would totally work, these are just some of our favorites! We did think about adding fries so that would be a good side too!
