The Midwest has lots of lakefront and adorable towns and cities to choose from. Illinois has plenty of cities to explore, like Galena and Rockford, and we’re bordered by 6 states! We spend most of our non-Chicago time in Michigan and Wisconsin as they’re the closest and an easier drive with young kiddos. I still have so much to explore and can’t wait to travel even further once my kids are older. Here are my current top three Midwest Travel destinations!
