A few months back, I introduced you to a new app, Karrot. Since then, they launched a new feature, using AI to make the the buying and selling process even easier!

• Generates catchy listing titles and descriptions, so you can upload items to sell in seconds!

• Suggests competitive pricing based on Karrot and other marketplace data, helping you sell items faster (this is a nice feature because sometimes you just don’t know how to price certain things!).

You can see my listing below. I am selling a boys winter jacket with and without using AI. AI added a title and description automatically. It will also give you a range that similar items sell for. Takes less than 30 seconds to make a post now! 

Why now? 

This is the best time to start going through closets and seeing what your kids have out grown – what can you get rid of? Last spring, I was looking for a bike on Karrot and now I am looking for winter apparel (snow pants, winter coats, etc). This is the time I think about all of these things before winter arrives, which will be here before you know it! Or your child has picked up a new hobby and you are looking for equipment? See if anyone in your neighborhood on Karrot is selling what you need! 

All you have to do is toggle the AI button on and it does it automatically. You don’t have to use this feature, but it’s there if you need it. You can see how I created a listing using AI above. I snapped a photo and AI automatically generated the title AND description! Literally took seconds. 

This entire selling experience, in combination with the verified local users feature, sets Karrot apart from other marketplaces. I listed a few new items that I wanted to sell and having these new features made it go so much faster!! I especially love the descriptions. It streamlines everything for you.
