Whether you’re catching a movie at Gallagher Way, dancing at Hyde Park’s music nights, or racing in a dinosaur costume (yes, really), there’s something happening every single week.

• Gallagher Way Movie Nights – most Wednesdays, May 21- Sep 17. Such a great family night activity!

• Race Against Gun Violence – Jun 5. Strides For Peace returns to Grant Park for its 12th year. They have an 8K, 5K, 2-mile walk, and a Kids for Peace Sprint.

• Hyde Park Harper Court Summer Music Series – Thursdays, Jun 5 – Sep 4

• Chicago Blues Festival in Millennium Park – Jun 5 – 8

• Lincoln Park Greek Fest – Jun 6 – 8. Try Greek cuisine and wine in Lincoln Park. The last time we went, there was also a big kids’ area!

• American Cancer Society Walk & Roll Grant Park – June 7th

• Ribfest Chicago – Jun 6 – 8

• 57th Street Art Fair in Hyde Park – Jun 7 – 8

• Dinopalooza 2025 Dino Derby at The Field Museum – Jun 7. This looks like so much fun! Don your best blow-up dinosaur costume and race to the finish line! Winner gets $1K!

• Puerto Rican Fest in Humboldt Park – Jun 12-15

• Andersonville Midsommarfest – Jun 13 – 15

• Festival del Nino at NMMA – Jun 14. We’ll be there!

• Pride Night at the Shedd – Jun 14

• Artists of the Wall Festival in Rogers Park – Jul 14 – 15

• Juneteenth Freedom Market at Salt Shed – Jun 17

• Dragon Boat Race for Literacy at Ping Tom Memorial Park – Jun 21

• Chicago Pride Fest – Jun 21 – 22.

• Flavors of Albany Park – June 25. We literally ate our way down Lawrence last year, tried foods from all over the world, and had the best time. One of our first stops was Nighthawk Chicago for house-made sangria. It was a great way to start the night, and they have a huge patio in the back! My absolute favorite stop was Pancit Bihon from Subo Chicago. It was such good Filipino food and I can’t wait to go back. There were 18 stops on the crawl last year, and by stop 9, I was already so full!
