Chicago has some of the best farmer’s markets around the city! There are quite a few I really like that aren’t as crowded and are on Sundays or even during the week. I organized the markets by day of the week and included their address! Their IG, Facebook accounts or websites are also linked if they have one! Double-check before you go because sometimes their hours change weekly.

Mondays

Edgewater – 📍5917 N Broadway. Mondays, 3 pm – 7 pm. June 2 -September 29, 2025. The market has gotten bigger and will take up the entire Broadway Armory parking lot!

Tuesdays 

Wednesdays 

Green City Market – Lincoln Park – 📍 1817 N. Clark. Wednesdays, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 7 – November. Also on Saturdays. One of the most popular ones, but I prefer the Wednesdays over Saturdays because it’s not as crowded. This is the biggest market and they have so many great vendors! I love seeing what Eden is cooking up, Daly’s Donuts, Dorothy’s, or Verznay for croissants.

Uptown Farmers Market – 📍Sunnyside Mall – the pedestrian stretch of Sunnyside between Magnolia and Beacon, just a block south of Wilson Avenue. Every Wednesday, 2:30 pm – 7 pm. May 7 – November 5, 2025.

Andersonville Farmers Market – 📍1500 West Winona St. Wednesdays, 3 – 7 pm. May 14 – October 22, 2025.

Ravenswood Community Farmers Market – 📍 4900 N Damen. Wednesdays, 4-8 PM. May 14 – October 15, 2025.

Growing Solutions Farm – 📍 2200 W. Campbell Park Dr. This market is partially run by students with autism, and the money raised goes directly to the Growing Solutions Farm. It opens May 14 and runs through October 31, 2025. Wednesdays 10 am -2 pm, Fridays 2 pm—6 pm.

Garfield Ridge Farmers Market – 📍Archer & Narragansett. Every Wednesday, 3 pm – 7 pm. June 4 – September, 24 2025.

Thursdays

Lincoln Square Farmers Market – 📍4513 N Lincoln Ave. Every Tuesday morning and Thursday evening, 3 pm – 7 pm. May 1 – October 30, 2025. No market 5/29 or 9/4.

Daley Plaza Market – 📍50 W. Washington St. Thursdays, 7am – 2pm, May 22 – October 2025. Small, but good if you are working downtown!

South Loop Farmers Market Night Market – 📍Roosevelt Collection Shops, 150 W. Roosevelt. Thursdays, 4 pm – 8 pm. June 12 – September 25, 2025. They have 2-hour free validated parking! I love their Night market so much, it’s my absolute favorite. There’s a DJ, kids area and some great vendors. Mother Prepper has some of the best tacos, Havia’s Mediterranean cuisine, Ami Freeze Dried Delights, Mimi’s Kimbap and so many more.

Austin Town Hall City Market – 📍5610 W. Lake St. Every Thursday, 1:00-6:00 pm. June 12 – October 30, 2025.

Fridays

The Lincoln Park Farmers Market – 📍 2001 N. Orchard St, LPHS Parking lot. They open their 44th annual season on May 4 and run through the Saturday before Thanksgiving, for a 30-week season! Saturdays, 7 am – 1 pm. April 26 – November 2025.

Hegewisch Farmers Market – 📍13323 S Green Bay Ave. Saturdays, 9 am-1 pm. May 10 – October 11, 2025. (Closed Aug. 2)

Division Street City Market – 📍100 W Division St. Saturdays, 7 am – 12 pm. May 17 — October 2025.

61st Street Farmers Market – 📍 6100 S. Blackstone Ave, Woodlawn. Saturdays, 9am – 2pm. May 17 – October 25, 2025. One of my favorites – they have lots of programming and a wide range of vendors. I love stopping by Build Coffee!

South Loop Farmers Market – Printers Row – 📍632 S. Dearborn St. Saturdays, 9am – 1pm. May 24 – November 1, 2025.

Horner Park Farmers Market -📍 2741 W. Montrose. FREE Yoga at 10 am, weather permitting! Saturdays, 9 am – 1 pm. June 7 – October 11, 2025. One of our favorites because the kids love the park here. You can make a day of it and walk along their newly renovated nature path along the North Branch of the river.

Mercado de Colores – 📍 4345 W. 26th St (Manuel Perez Memorial Plaza, South Lawndale). Saturdays, 11 am-3 pm. June 7 – October 4, 2025.

Eckhart Park Farmers Market – 📍1330 W. Chicago Ave. Saturdays, 9 am-1 pm. June 7 – August 3, 2025.

Plant Chicago Farmers Market – Back of the Yards – 📍 corner of 45th & Marshfield (across the street from The Firehouse). Every 2nd Saturday, 11 am-3 pm. June 14, July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8, 2025.

Garfield Park Neighborhood Market – 📍 135 N. Kedzie Ave (The Hatchery). 2nd and 4th Saturdays. June 14 – October 2025.

Jefferson Park Sunday Market – 📍 Jefferson Park Memorial, Sundays, 10 am – 2 pm. Opening date TBD. They rotate every Sunday with the Portage Park market. I like it because I actually prefer markets on Sunday to shop for the week! There’s also a water feature kids can play in and a small public pool to spend the day in Jefferson Park. I discovered Distinct Bath and Body products here and I am hooked. It’s handmade soaps, body scrubs and body butters – they are incredible.

Portage Park Farmers Market – 📍 4100 N. Long Ave, Portage Park near the intersection of Long Avenue and Irving Park Road. Sundays, 10 am-2 pm. 2025 dates to be announced. Huge park the kids can play after or even swim in the public pool when it opens!

Bronzeville Farmers Market – 📍 4700 S. King Dr. Sundays, 10am-2pm. 2025 dates to be announced.
