Chicago has some of the best farmer’s markets around the city! There are quite a few I really like that aren’t as crowded and are on Sundays or even during the week. I organized the markets by day of the week and included their address! Their IG, Facebook accounts or websites are also linked if they have one! Double-check before you go because sometimes their hours change weekly.

Mondays

Edgewater – 📍5917 N Broadway. Mondays, 3pm – 7pm. Jun. 5-Sep. 25, 2023. The market will be twice as big this year and will take up the entire Broadway Armory parking lot!

Tuesdays 

Wednesdays 

Andersonville Farmers Market – 📍Clark & Catalpa. Wednesdays, 3pm – 7pm. May 10 – Oct 18, 2023.

Green City Market – Lincoln Park – 📍 1817 N. Clark. Wednesdays, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. May – October, 2023. One of the most popular ones, but I prefer the Wednesdays over Saturdays because it’s not as crowded.

Ravenswood Farmers Market – 📍 4900 N Damen. Wednesdays, 4-8 PM. June 14 – October 11, 2023.

Uptown Farmers Market – 📍Sunnyside Mall – the pedestrian stretch of Sunnyside between Magnolia and Beacon, just a block south of Wilson Avenue. Every Wednesday, beginning May 3, 2023.

Garfield Ridge Farmers Market – 📍6072 S. Archer, the Mayfield. Every Wednesday, June – September, 2023.

Pullman City Market – 📍 11100 S. Cottage Grove. Every Wednesday. July 5 – Oct. 25, 7am-1pm.

Growing Solutions Farm – 📍 2200 W. Campbell Park Dr. This market is helped run by students with autism and the money raised goes directly to the Growing Solutions Farm. Open May 10 – Oct. 10. Wednesdays 10 am – 2 pm, Fridays 2 pm – 6 pm.

South Loop Farmers Market – Grant Park – 📍Grant Park, SE corner of Michigan Ave. & Roosevelt Rd. Thursdays, 4pm – 8pm. Jun. 1 – Sep. 28, 2023.

Lincoln Square Farmers Market – 📍Lincoln and Leland. Every Tuesday morning and Thursday evening 3-7pm. May-November 2023. No market on June 1 or September 7, 2023.

Austin Town Hall City Market – 📍5610 W. Lake St. Every Thursday, 1-6:00 pm. June 8 – Oct. 26.
