It starts with a basket of soda bread, scones and Irish shortbread. Followed by the second course, this adorable tower filled with sweet and savory treats. I loved the corned beef roll, cucumber sandwiches and more. We left with to-go boxes because it’s a good amount of food! Each guest also gets their own tea kettle of their choice. $85 per person and there is a kids menu with separate pricing. It’s here only this month! Thanks for hosting mw @lhchicago!

New Exhibit Alert! 🚨 The Green Book Exhibit at the @ihmec in Skokie is here until April (also free admission this Friday!).

This book turned exhibition includes artifacts to historic footage, images, & firsthand accounts that illustrate how Black Travelers moved across the country with help from the Green Book during the Jim Crow era.

There’s also a ton of Chicago references! Including this Sutherland sign from a former hotel known for its jazz scene & hosting Civil Rights meetings in Kenwood!
