Chicago has some of the best farmer’s markets around the city! There are quite a few I really like that aren’t as crowded and are on Sundays or even during the week. I organized the markets by day of the week and included their address! Their IG, Facebook accounts or websites are also linked if they have one! Double-check before you go because sometimes their hours change weekly.

Edgewater – 📍5917 N Broadway. Mondays, 3pm – 7pm. Jun. 3-Sep 2024. The market has gotten bigger and will take up the entire Broadway Armory parking lot!

Andersonville Farmers Market – 📍Clark & Catalpa. Wednesdays, 3pm – 7pm. May 15 – Oct 23, 2024.

Green City Market – Lincoln Park – 📍 1817 N. Clark. Wednesdays, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. May – October 2024. Also on Saturdays. One of the most popular ones, but I prefer the Wednesdays over Saturdays because it’s not as crowded.

Ravenswood Community Farmers Market – 📍 4900 N Damen. Wednesdays, 4-8 PM. May 8-October 16, 2024.

Uptown Farmers Market – 📍Sunnyside Mall – the pedestrian stretch of Sunnyside between Magnolia and Beacon, just a block south of Wilson Avenue. Every Wednesday. May 1 – Nov 6, 2024.

Garfield Ridge Farmers Market – 📍6072 S. Archer, Mayfield Banquet Hall. Every Wednesday 3pm-7pm. June – September.

Growing Solutions Farm – 📍 2200 W. Campbell Park Dr. This market is partially run by students with autism and the money raised goes directly to the Growing Solutions Farm. Opens May 24 and runs through October 2024. Wednesdays 10am-2pm, Fridays 2pm 6pm.
