Dance the night away to a live DJ with drinks and food curated by @mamafreshchi and @thechicagogoodlife!

Tickets to the event include:

Manny’s Monday Meals! I’m trying the habanero

Manny’s Monday Meals! I’m trying the habanero margaritas from @hellacocktailco and it was very good! Had a kick 🌶️

Arrachera Recipe 🌮 meat from @tonysfreshmarket

1-2 lbs carne asada
1 bunch cilantro
½ beer (any lager will do)
2-3 limes
1 Jalapeno, sliced
4 tbsp adobo seasoning
1 packet sazon Goya
4 tbsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
-Combine all the ingredients in a shallow baking dish and mix
-Place meat in there and ensure meat is in marinade. -Add more beer if needed
Thick: Marinate for 1-2 hours
Thin: Marinate 1 hour

Tips:
🌮 If you like it very thin, get it cut and passed through the machine. This will make it very tender. If you like it thicker, make sure you marinate for longer or else it will be chewy
🌮You can play around with the seasoning, but ALWAYS have beer and the acid (limes, lemon, oranges) to break down the meat. Onions add great flavor too #chicagoparents #chicagomom #chicagocouple #homerecipe #chicagoblogger
